Shop the square
Boutiques, makers, gifts, and beauty studios — a curated reason to stroll downtown Jacksonville, Alabama.
Independent shops, back downtown
The District is bringing boutique retail, makers, gifts, and personal-care professionals back to downtown Jacksonville — and the first is already here. The Lounge Salon, a full-service hair and nail salon, is open now alongside Tulip Café, with boutiques, makers, and gift shops arriving for the Fall 2026 phase. Browse a corner boutique, watch a maker at work, find the right gift, or book an appointment — all on one walkable square.
Every storefront is curated to complement its neighbors rather than compete with them. The result is a shopping experience you can't get from a strip center or a screen: real streets, real character, and a mix of independent shops worth a Saturday afternoon.
The District is also home to Salon Lofts — eight private, turnkey suites for independent hair, nail, lash, brow, and skincare professionals — making the square a destination for looking and feeling your best.
